カバーが少し浮き上がって見えたので外します。
これは外したエアコン前カバーです。
中央の黒く尖った角の左側の透明プッスチックが割れています。
The transparent plastic stick to the left of the black sharp corner in the center is broken.
このケースの中にはエアコン運転中に前カバーを開ける仕掛けの歯車が二個収まっています。
そのケースがひび割れています。一年前にエポキシ樹脂接着剤で固めたのですが、接着の弱い所から再度剥がれました。この状態だとギアが中で踊って噛み合うことが出来ずエアコン前面カバーが中途半端状態になります。
Inside this case are two gears that open the front cover while the air conditioner is running. The case is cracked. I fixed it with epoxy resin adhesive a year ago, but it peeled off again at the weak adhesive area. In this state, the gears dance inside and cannot mesh, leaving the front cover of the air conditioner half-finished.
今回は透明ケースの補強をするためにブリキ板を加工してエポキシ樹脂で固め直したいと思います。
ケースの形に切った板に角用の穴を開けて周囲を折り曲げました。
釘が見えますが、これは中にあるギアがグラついて回っているので、そのグラつき防止の心棒です。

古いエポキシはルーターで削り取り
作成補強鉄板のケバをルーターで削って、エポキシで接着しました。
こんな感じになりました。
取付けて試運転して終了です。上手くいきました。
Install it, test run it, and you’re done. It went well.
