愛犬は１５歳でかなりの老犬になってきました。
目と耳の機能低下が著しく、餌の皿に足を入れたり、水入れに座り込んだりするようになりました。
昼間は、愛犬だけで１２時間を過ごしているので、何かあると可哀そうなことになるので対策をすることにしました。つづく。
My dog is 15 years old and has become quite old. The function of his eyes and ears deteriorated significantly, and he began to put his feet in the food dish and sit in the water bowl. During the day, I spend 12 hours alone with my dog, so if something were to happen I would feel bad for him, so I decided to take measures.
仕切り板を作る事にしました。
こんな感じです。目が不自由なので水入れにお尻を入れて寝たりするので、顔だけが入るように仕切ってみました。餌やり機は２，３センチ床から上げました。

食事場の周辺にフェンスを作りました。目が殆ど見えておらず鼻先が何かに当たるまで前進する動作を良く見かけるようになったのでフェンスを作りました。
We built a fence around the dining area. I built a fence because the cat can’t see much and I often see it move forward until the tip of its nose hits something.
高さ２５センチくらいの板で囲います。Surround it with boards about 25 cm high.
これで部屋の中をうろつかなくて良くなります。This way you don’t have to wander around the room.
