終の棲家さがし　Searching for a final home

（２０２３．１０月）

大阪住吉区に居ますが、最後に住む場所はここで良いのか？自問自答、妻とも問答しております。候補地は宮崎、天草、和歌山、海が綺麗で温かな所です。

I live in Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka, but is this the right place to live? I am asking myself questions and asking questions with my wife. Candidate locations include Miyazaki, Amakusa, and Wakayama, places with beautiful and warm ocean views.

考えなければならない事は、南海トラフ地震（32ｍの津波）、温暖化による水害や土砂崩れ、高齢による医療機関への通院　などです。つづく。

Things we need to think about include the Nankai Trough Earthquake (32m tsunami), flood damage and landslides due to global warming, and visits to medical institutions due to aging.

出雲大社　（2023.9.25）Izumo Taisha Shrine

日帰りバスツアーでは最も遠い所でした。遠いだけに２人ドライバーでした。It was the farthest place on the day trip bus tour. Since it was far away, there were two drivers.

出雲大社の近くの島根ワイナリーで昼食を食べて１３時３０分頃に到着しました。We had lunch at Shimane Winery near Izumo Taisha Shrine and arrived around 1:30 p.m.

途中　雲行き怪しく雨がポツポツと来ていましたが青空に変わりました。On the way, the clouds were cloudy and it was raining here and there, but the sky turned blue.

全国でも珍しい下り参道です。This is a downhill approach that is rare in Japan.

参道の右を歩いて進みます。真ん中は八百万の神々が通るらしくソコは横切ってもいけないそうです。Walk to the right of the approach. It seems that Yaoyorozu Gods pass through the middle, so they are not allowed to cross that part.

拝殿でお参りをしました。全国で３か所（２礼４拍手１礼）の拝礼手順でお参りしました。I prayed at the shrine. I prayed at three locations across the country (two bows, four claps, one bow).

１０月に全国から八百万の神々が集まって話し合いをするシーズン中のホテルがこれです。１０月はここの全扉が開くそうです。長さ３０メートル位の長屋が本殿の両脇に２棟在ります。

This is the hotel during the season when 8 million gods from all over the country gather and discuss in October. Apparently all the doors here will open in October. There are two rowhouses about 30 meters long on either side of the main shrine.

日本で一番大きな国旗らしいです。ポールの高さは２４メートルで畳４８枚？の面積だそうです。It seems to be the largest national flag in Japan. The height of the pole is 24 meters and 48 tatami mats? It seems that the area is .

元々出雲大社には神主様は二人制だったところを明治時代？に一人にされたらしく、もう一人の神主様が大社の隣に北島国造館を作ったという事です。ガイドさんに小声で教えられて見学しました。Originally, there were two priests at Izumo Taisha Shrine, but in the Meiji era? It seems that he was left alone, and another priest built the Kitajima Kokuzokan next to the shrine. We toured the area with the guide whispering to us.

比べてはいけないのでしょうが、締め縄も小さめです。

１６時３０分ころ帰路に付きました。大阪駅には２１時３０分頃到着しました。

I probably shouldn’t compare them, but the rope is also smaller. We headed back home around 4:30 p.m. I arrived at Osaka Station around 9:30pm.

TVのスピーカー　TV speakers

テレビは細長い部屋の端に在り、食卓から視聴するとボリュームを上げないと聞こえません。

音量を上げると屋外でも聞こえる程になり騒音公害になります。

今回は、リビング・キッチンの中央付近にスピーカーを置けばテレビの音量を上げなくても聞こえるのではないかと思って、実験をしてみました。

先ずスピーカーケーブルを購入。10メートル✕2本　1700円。

続いて、デジタルアンプを購入　2700円。凄く小さくてビックリです。

スピーカーは16年前に買ったフラットスピーカーを利用。薄っぺらくて場所を取らないのでカーテンレールの上に仮置します。

テレビとスピーカーをデジタルアンプに繋げて、鳴らしてみました。音量を上げなくても聞こえ易いことが判りました。

その後このアンプとスピーカーの組み合わせでは低音が出にくいことがわかったので

自作のデジタルアンプとスピーカーに入れ替えました。（つづく）

このスピーカーは二十歳の頃に買った40年選手です。小さくて場所を取らないところが好きで手放せません。これを天井近くに設置する事にます。

廃材の板を切って塗装します。

ビス穴、電線穴を開けて

天井付近に取り付けて、この板にスピーカーを取り付けます。

ベストな位置を追求しなければならないところですが、狭い家だと設置場所は限られます。妥協した場所です。（つづく）

その後ディスプレイの位置は部屋中央に横向きに移動、スピーカー位置はそのままで過ごしていましたが、スピーカーの位置が高過ぎる事とディスプレイに対して前後位置なので左右位置にすることにしました。

場所はディスプレー横、余っていたフラットスピーカーも上に載せ以前購入したアンプに繋ぎました。

The speaker was installed next to the display, with a flat speaker placed on top and connected to a dedicated amplifier.

２セットのスピーカーを2つのアンプで鳴らしてます。自作アンプも小さく作ったつもりですが最近のアンプは安くて超小型ですねー。

板に載せただけの状態なので固定法を考えなければなりません。（つづく）

充電工具　置き場　（2022.5.14）Charging tool storage

充電工具の置き場を作りました。

今迄はキャリーケースに充電器を入れたまま充電していたので、場所を食っていました。キャリーケースから出して置き場を作りました。

スッキリ省スペースになりました。

バッテリーが充電不能になりました。バッテリーは買い替えて５年目になり劣化が始まっているし、充電器は３０年選手だし疑わしい物だらけです。

何が悪いのか原因究明をすることにしました。

初めにバッテリーを分解しました。

中は円柱形の電池が10本直列接続になっています。10本中何本か電圧が出てないと推測しテスターで測定するも全て1.1ボルト程度有りバラツキもありません。トータル電圧を測ると11ボルトくらいあり正常値になってます。

組み立てて充電器に挿すと何と充電ランプが点灯して正常状態です。バラシて清掃したので接触でも良くなったのかな？

半分諦諦めていたのでメチャ嬉しい気分になり、充電器置き場を作業台下のホコリの付く所から移動しました。

作業台から離して床から１メートル位の場所で電チャリの充電器も一緒に並べました。

岡山日帰りツアー　（2023.9.17）Okayama day tour

神庭（かんば）の滝と備中鍾乳穴の二か所を見学しました。早めの昼食を済ませて、初めに神庭（かんば）の滝へ　We toured two places: Kanba Falls and Bicchu Stalactite Cave. After an early lunch, we headed to Kanba Falls.

滝に近づくにつれて天然クラーが効いていて涼しかったです。As we got closer to the waterfall, the natural cooler was effective and it was cool.

滝のマイナスイオンを浴びながら水を触って２～３分子供に帰りました。I touched the water for a few minutes, bathing in the negative ions from the waterfall, and went back to my kids.

次に備中鍾乳穴に行き３０分位洞窟内を見学しました。写真は撮ってないのですが、ここも入り口付近から　かなり涼しいと言うか寒い感じがして持って行ったジャンパーを着て見学しました。

洞窟内の鉄製の階段や通路が錆びていて老朽化が進んでる感じがしました。

昼ご飯のデザートのブドウ食べ放題は甘くて美味しかったです。シャインマスカット、桃太郎、ピオーネの三種類＋パイナップルでした。

Next, we went to Bitchu Cave and toured the cave for about 30 minutes. I didn’t take any photos, but from near the entrance he noticed that it was quite cool, or rather, it felt cold, so he put on the jumper he had brought with him and took a tour. The iron stairs and passageways inside the cave were rusty and looked like they were aging. The all-you-can-eat grapes for lunch dessert was sweet and delicious. There were three types: Shine Muscat, Momotaro, and Pione + pineapple.
