建物以外でやった、色んなDIY

出窓にプリンターを置いていたら 妻に出窓はクリアーにして欲しいと リクエストされました。 I placed the printer on the bay window, but my wife requested that I keep the bay window clear
リビングボードと本棚の間に 板を渡して こんなふうに してみました OK出る事を祈ります。 I placed a board between the living board and the bookshelf, and this is what I came up with. I hope it gets the OK.
端材を使用して高さ調整しました 棚板の端にスキャナーを載せました。 I used scrap wood to adjust the height and placed the scanner at the edge of the shelf board.

屋根裏に上がるハシゴが時々引っ掛かるようになりました。The ladder to the attic sometimes gets stuck.
原因は折り畳んだ時の ハシゴのズレでした。 ”The cause was the misalignment of the ladder when it was folded
丁番の取り付けを調整すると接触しなくなりました。Adjusting the hinge installation prevented it from getting stuck.

このテーブルの天板は石板で、表面の樹脂コーティングが一部剥がれ初めてササクレ立ってきたのでコーティングを剥がして表面を磨く事にしました。
This tabletop is made of stone, and the resin coating on the surface has started to peel off and become rough. So, I decided to remove the coating and polish the surface.
初めは 粗い砥石で磨き First, I polished it with a coarse whetstone.
次に2,000番、最後に6000番の砥石で磨きました。といしで石を磨くのは初めてでしたが うまくいったと思います。
Next, I polished it with a 2,000-grit whetstone and a 6,000-grit whetstone. It was my first time polishing stone with a whetstone, but I think it went well.

このスタンド初めは１５０㎝くらいの高さのスタンドでしたが、今の我が家にはそれを置くスペースが無いのでベッドの横で使うようにデスクスタンドに改造しました。
This lamp was about 150 cm tall, but since we don’t have space for it in our current home, I modified it into a desk lamp next to the bed.
高さ15センチくらいのベースを廃木材で作り 白色に塗りました。I made a base about 15 cm high from scrap wood and painted it white.
傘の高さが３０㎝位になったので 綺麗なステンドグラスが良く生える様になりました。The height of the shade is now about 30 cm, so the beautiful stained glass stands out nicely.
以前の傘を吊り下げていた鉄製のパイプは上下逆さまにして再利用しました。面白い形になりました。
I reused the iron pipe that previously held the shade by turning it upside down. It created an interesting shape.

ペーパー取り込みと送り出しのゴムローラーが劣化して溶けて粘着物質化したので ゴムローラーを交換する事にしました。
The rubber rollers for the paper intake and feeder had deteriorated and melted into a sticky substance, so I decided to replace the rubber rollers.
駆動シャフトに挿入されたゴムローラーを交換するには 80％程度分解が必要でした。
The rubber roller inserted into the drive shaft was replaced, so about 80% of the machine needed to be disassembled.
YouTubeで入手した手順を参考に作業を進めましたが 構造が複雑だったので
取り外した部品を紙の上に 順番に並べました。
I used the instructions I got from YouTube to guide me through the process, but the structure was so complex that I had to arrange the removed parts in order on a piece of paper.
やっとの思いでシャフトを抜き出しました。Finally, I pulled out the shaft.
左のローラーは溶けています。右のローラーも溶ける寸前です。The left roller is melted. The right roller is also on the verge of melting.
Amazon Primeで４個￥1100で購入した部品と交換して復旧出来ました。ゴムの色が綺麗です。これで更に数年使えると思います。
I was able to restore it by replacing it with parts I purchased from Amazon Prime for ¥1100 for 4 pieces. The color of the rubber is beautiful. I think it will last for a few more years.
