日帰りバスツアーで福井県に行きました。I went to Fukui Prefecture on a one-day bus tour.

三方五湖で食事しました。We had lunch at Mikata Goko.

流木を探しましたが手ごろなサイズが有りませんでした。I looked for driftwood, but couldn’t find anything of a reasonable size.

展望台に上って景色を満喫しました。大阪からの日帰りでは、この辺りが北限みたいです。金沢にも行ってみたいですが一泊旅行になりますね。I went up to the observation deck and enjoyed the view. This area seems to be the northern limit for a day trip from Osaka. I would like to go to Kanazawa as well, but it will be an overnight trip.

バスツアーで香川県丸亀市の中野うどん学校に行き、うどん打ちを体験して、試食をしました。We took a bus tour to Nakano Udon School in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, where we experienced making udon noodles and sampled them.

これは、学校で打った、うどんを持ち帰って翌日自宅で食べた時の写真、コシのある美味しいうどんでした。This is a photo of the udon noodles I made at school and when I took them home the next day and ate them at home. They were chewy and delicious.

これは、父母海岸で水面に映る写真が撮れると噂のスポットです。その日は少し風が吹いていて水面が波打っていて、今一つでしたが楽しかったです。This is a rumored spot where you can take photos of the reflection on the water at Chichiha Beach. It was a bit windy that day and the water surface was rippled, so it wasn’t quite as good, but it was fun.

バスツアーで南紀白浜に行きました。三段壁とイチゴ狩りを楽しんできました。I enjoyed Sandanbeki and strawberry picking.

イチゴを腹一杯食べました。大きくて甘いイチゴでした。妻はイチゴ大好き人間で大満足していました。I ate my fill of strawberries. It was a big and sweet strawberry. My wife loves strawberries and was very satisfied.

夫婦で宮崎に旅行に行きました。コロナも収束に向かいつつある中の久しぶりの二泊三日の旅行でした。My wife and I went on a trip to Miyazaki. It was my first two-night, three-day trip in a while, as the coronavirus pandemic is beginning to subside.

１日目、平和台と宮崎神宮。２日目は高千穂峡。Day 1: Heiwadai and Miyazaki Shrine. The second day was Takachiho Gorge.

３日目青島神社と　Day 3 Aoshima Shrine and

鵜戸神宮などを観光しました。天気も良く暑いくらいでした。We visited Udo Shrine and other places. The weather was nice and even hot.

妻と友人２人で鳥取に一泊二日の旅に行きました。現地で更に２人が加わり六人旅です。My wife and two friends went on a one-night, two-day trip to Tottori. Two more people joined us locally, making it a six-person trip.

大阪からスーパーはくとを使って列車の旅です。コロナ明けの久々の旅です。A train trip using Super Hakuto from Osaka. It’s been a long time since the end of Corona.

鳥取駅に在った蕎麦の看板。何にでも砂丘を付けるみたいですよ。

砂の博物館に行きました。テーマはエジプト展だったかな？　We went to the sand museum. The theme is Egypt exhibition

初めて行った鳥取砂丘です。二日とも天気に恵まれ最高でした。

泊まった旅館は、三朝館という老舗宿で夕食にカニ懐石を食べて大満足でした。

This is the first time I went to Tottori Sand Dunes. The weather was perfect both days. The inn I stayed at was a long-established inn called Misasakan, and I was very satisfied with crab kaiseki for dinner.
